Oshman's online store features a wide selection of
sporting equipment, shoes, apparel and accessories from more than 35
categories including `Fan Gear' and `Gear for the Female Athlete.'
Oshman's is fully integrating its e-commerce message
into its advertising and in-store promotions.
In addition to 24-hour customer support via
telephone, visitors will be able to interact online with customer
service representatives using Oshman's 'Live Rep' technology (based on
eGain), and return items bought online to land-based stores.
The online store offers a limited low price guarantee
that pays the difference if a customer finds the exact same item
advertised online at a lower price within 14 days. The guarantee
excludes online stores such as REI and is only applicable for one item
of each product.
Oshman's currently operates 56 sporting goods
specialty stores including 42 SuperSports USA stores and 14 traditional
stores. The SuperSports USA stores utilize interactive
merchandising by offering sports test-play areas including basketball
courts, batting cages, golf simulators and tennis courts.
