Target.com beefs up its online technology in advance of the 2000 e-holiday season

Recognizing the need to improve its technology for handling customer relationships and online traffic, Target.com has invested in a new technology platform from Art Technology Group of Cambridge, MA.

The new technology, based on the Dynamo Product Suite, is expected to help Target.com handle growing traffic volume and deliver an improved customer experience.

Art Technology Group, Inc. provides Internet customer relationship management technology and electronic commerce products and services. ATG offers an integrated suite of Java application server-based products and services, as well as related application development, integration and support services. The ATG Dynamo Product Suite is designed to manage and build their online customer relationships and to more effectively market, sell, and support products and services over the Internet.
