Marlene Klein Cosmetics launches  MarleneKlein.com

MarleneKlein.com was founded by cosmetics entrepreneur Marlene Klein, formerly with The Estee Lauder Companies. Klein claims to have the first "internet brand'' cosmetics line. Sold exclusively online, MarleneKlein.com aims to bring top department store quality make-up products to domestic and international customers, at prices ranging between 40 to 60 percent below those of comparable department store lines. 

Marlene Klein offers free online beauty consultation, and provides free Foundation samples to assist their clients with color matching. The Website contains beauty tips, a "Beauty Talk'' bulletin board, and a doctor's column written by Marlene's husband and business partner Roger Klein, M.D., a physician and Yale Law School graduate.
