| Following on the heels of our report on FurnitureChannel.com (see story), DeliverAll.com, a subsidiary of furniture wholesaler COA
Inc, has launched its own furniture eRetailing Web site.
DeliverAll.com takes advantage of several economies of scale,
including seven warehouses and key business relationships with furniture
retailers that make up an extensive delivery network.
As COA's subsidiary, DeliverAll.com avoids channel conflicts by including the
retailer in the delivery process. "We believe that the key to having a successful furniture retailing
business on the Internet is to take advantage of the efficiencies of the
traditional supply model while at the same time having a distinct
business designed specifically for the Internet,'' said Gene Korbut,
vice president of sales and marketing for
DeliverAll.com.
DeliverAll.com claims it can achieve fulfillment of furniture in three weeks or
less because of a business model that includes a large inventory system
and a retail partner delivery network. All items in DeliverAll.com's online store are kept in inventory and
ready for immediate delivery upon order. In addition, as furniture
retailers, DeliverAll.com's shipping partners are already participants
in the traditional supply chain. They are therefore qualified to monitor
the quality and condition of furniture as well as provide expert
installation and setup in the home of the customer while being sensitive
to the needs of the consumer.
The goal of DeliverAll.com is to provide consumers with a one-stop
online resource for all their furniture needs. The company offers delivery and in-home setup for no extra charge on
all orders of $300 or more.
