PlanetRx Refers Customers to drugstore.com |
| Following PlanetRx's decision to cease retail operations,
Drugstore.com announced it is the preferred retail provider for
PlanetRx's 1.4 million members.
Communications to PlanetRx customers will begin this week on the site and through e-mail. Participation in the referral program will be voluntary, and customer information will be shared only at the request of the customer. "Through this arrangement, PlanetRx customers will continue to receive low Internet prices on their prescriptions as well as enjoy easy access to a convenient online store where they can take care of their replenishment needs, discover new products, and interact privately with a pharmacist," said Peter Neupert, Chairman and CEO, drugstore.com.
