| Online shoppers seeking rebates need no longer be tied to
their stationary computers to browse and make purchases. CyberRebate.com,
an online retail mall that offers cash rebates, is now accessible to
consumers on the move via services provided by wireless application
software and service provider 2Roam, Inc.
CyberRebate provides incentives on products ranging from computers
and office equipment to health and beauty aids. "CyberRebate places
a high value on delivering quality products and customer satisfaction,
and 2Roam's platform and Wireless Website Toolkit provides a simple,
cost-efficient tool that enables us to extend our content to all
wireless devices," said CyberRebate CEO, Joel Granik. "We then
pass the savings along to our customers."
With this new capability, CyberRebate can quickly deploy its wireless
site to mobile online shoppers. Wireless users will have access to all
of the same products and services from CyberRebate that they have from
their PCs. Additionally, CyberRebate's site now automatically manages
and updates it's own content, while providing a secure environment for
consumers to conduct wireless transactions.
"Our software and services tool enabled CyberRebate to publish
its wireless site once and reach any mobile device, saving it the hassle
of keeping pace with ever changing wireless protocols and
standards," said Mark Jamtgaard, CTO and co-founder of 2Roam.
