Amazon.com Selects Geodesic as Safety Net for System Reliability |

(Nasdaq: AMZN) has licensed Geodesic’s REMIDI product to ensure peak
uptime of its supply chain management systems, which includes numerous
distribution centers worldwide.
Using Geodesic’s patented Runtime Diagnosis and Remediation (RDR) technology, Geodesic REMIDI transparently prevents system crashes by automatically resolving destructive application errors while an application is running. By injecting Geodesic REMIDI into its application infrastructure, Amazon.com gains insurance that its systems maintain maximum uptime, even during periods of peak demand. “Geodesic allows us to focus on our core business and address our customer's needs,” said Rick Dalzell, vice president and chief information officer of Amazon.com. “Our decision was reinforced by the fact that REMIDI is pure plug-and-play.
