Company, Inc. (NYSE: JCP) has revamped its Web site for the spring. Some
of the changes include:
- Fresh, customer-focused welcome page emphasizes fashion, security
and convenience.
- Merchandise showcased in energetic photography; categorized by
brand, size and theme.
- Robust search engine that "thinks" more intuitively and
produces smarter results.
- Shopper-oriented navigation makes finding the right items quick and
easy.
- "Buy This Outfit" function to purchase a total
"look" put together by trend watchers.
- "Preferred" apparel items showcased on dedicated feature
pages provide shoppers with a direct link to merchandise and
up-to-date information about styles, colors and trends.
- Gift Center features gift registries, and a new "Gift
Finder" tool enables shoppers to purchase gifts by price or
occasion.
- Progressive technology tools developed for product merchandisers to
dynamically renew the site, presenting special offers, must-have items
and trend-right fashions.
