with MegaMags, Inc. to launch an online magazine newsstand at www.borders.com. MegaMags, Inc. is a
Minneapolis-based e-commerce company that creates custom magazine
newsstands for Internet sites.
Over 21,000
magazines will be available in single copies, back issues and
subscriptions on the Borders.com Newsstand. The vast title base ranges
from such familiar titles as Reader's Digest, Family Circle, Newsweek
and Glamour to more esoteric publications including Yoga Journal, Pen
World, UFO, American Cheerleader and New Zealand Quilter. With back
issues available, fans of such magazines as Vanity Fair, Sports
Illustrated or O, The Oprah Magazine will never miss an issue.
Among the special
features of the Borders.com Newsstand are the more than 750 foreign
language magazine titles available in French, Italian, Spanish, Russian
and German. There are also more than 350 British magazines available.
