| BroadVision Inc., (Nasdaq: BVSN),
announced that the Pitney Bowes e-commerce portal, pitneybowes.com, a
global provider of integrated mail, messaging and document management,
has gone live using BroadVision's suite of e-business software
applications.
Using a suite of applications that includes BroadVision One-To-One® Enterprise, BroadVision Business Commerce™ and
BroadVision Retail Commerce™, Pitney Bowes has created a single,
personalized point of interaction for information, transactions,
communication and support for more than 250,000 customers in over 130
countries around the world. Customers are now able to view Pitney Bowes
as a single touch-point that provides easy access to a set of mailing,
copy and fax solutions comprised of products and services.
According to BroadVision, Pitney Bowes has streamlined a number of
key business processes and has built a site that unites all of Pitney
Bowes' product and service offerings including business recovery,
litigation copy and mail management services.
The newly reorganized site also provides customers with a quick and
easy-to-navigate, personalized shopping experience. In addition, the
website has the scalability to react to unexpected surges in customer
demand. For example, the recent postage rate change required
pitneybowes.com to scale from 25,000 visitors per day to 130,000.
Pitney Bowes worked with BroadVision consulting partner Roundarch, an
integrated services firm focused on creating compelling customer
experiences, to deliver superior financial results. Roundarch managed
and delivered the overall re-branding, redesigning and rebuilding of
pitneybowes.com. In addition, Roundarch moved the content and technical
capabilities of pitneybowes.com into BroadVision's e-business software
suite.
