Frequently Asked Questions and their answersAre your 800 rates competitive?
Our rates are as low as 4.5 cents per minute, which is extremely competitive. (6.6 cents per minute on pay-as-you-go).

Does your service require a contractual agreement for any particular length of time?
No, subscriptions are on a month to month basis. You can call or e-mail us at anytime to cancel.

 

How Long Does It Take To Receive My Number?
You will receive your number as soon as you complete the registration process (just a couple of minutes online).

Can I order a custom toll-free number?
Yes! If you request a custom number and we will issue you with a temporary toll-free number instantly and replace it with your new number once we are able to register it (custom number can take  a short time to secure so we give you a temporary number that you can use to setup your system and try out the features). If your first requested number is unavailable, we'll try the next on your list. If none are available, you can continue to use the temporary number you were assigned or request an alternative number. (There is a $30 charge for a custom number).

Do you charge a setup fee?
No, you get instant activation with no setup fee and no long-term commitment!

What are your hours of support?
Our client services department is available, free of charge, from 6am to 6pm, Pacific Standard Time, Monday through Friday. We are available to assist you with any questions you may have about your system. Our representatives know that learning anything new is sometimes a daunting task, so we are here to help you configure your system in the best way possible for your company. We can even customize your system to fit your exact needs.

How long can my recordings be?
Your recordings can be as long as you'd like them to be. We like to meet the needs of our customers, so if you have the need for a long recording, we will be happy to meet that need. The longest we currently have for one recording is about an hour.

Will I get the caller id of someone calling from a blocked number?
Yes. We use ANI or Automatic Number Identification, a call capture feature that is similar to caller ID but can not be blocked.

What does it mean that I have 100 unique extensions that mirror four times?
You have 100 extensions, 100-199, that can each hold their own unique recording and fax back document. In order for you to track your advertising efficiently, we automatically copy or mirror each of those 100 extensions four times. Whatever is recorded or loaded in extension 100 is also loaded in 200, 300, 400, and 500 without you having to record it more than one time! When looking at your statistics report, you will be able to trace where your caller saw your ad based on the first number of the extension.

Once my caller dials a 3 digit extension, what options do they have after listening to the recording?
You can set up multiple options to give your caller:

  1. Remain on the line to leave a message.

  2. Dial 6 to receive a fax.

  3. Dial 7 to speak with a representative.

  4. Dial another extension as indicated in the recording (e.g. for pricing)

  5. Return to the main menu.

How do I retrieve my voicemail messages?
All of your messages get delivered to one mailbox (you can optionally request additional mailboxes), so you don't have to check 600 different extensions. You have 3 ways to check those messages:
   1.    Call your toll free number.
   2.    They can be delivered straight to your e-mail.
   3.    You can check your messages online through your
           web interface.

How many outgoing fax documents can I have?
Your main menu can hold one fax document, and each of your 100 unique extensions can hold its own fax back document, so in total, you can load 101 different fax back documents into your system.

Can I add a second number or mailbox to my account?
Yes, you can add a second toll-free number if you would like to use one for your business and another for your ad's. You may also want to add a second main greeting to use with your second number. (Additional fees apply).

How many telephone numbers will my system attempt to reach me at with the "Follow-Me-Live" call forwarding feature?
We can track you down on as many phone numbers as you'd like until we reach you. You can even set the days of the week and the times of the day you would like to take calls at a particular number.

Can I select my own call forwarding preferences?
Yes, and you can set both the time of day and days of the week you would like to get calls at a particular number. The same is true for the notification of your messages; you can set the time and days of the week that you would like to be notified of calls.

Do you offer professional voice talent?
Yes, we work with professional voice talent who can make your recordings for you. There is a minimum $25 charge for this, depending on the length of your script. Simply write your script out, and e-mail it to us. A representative will work with you in making sure your script complies with your system, and once you both are happy, the script will be sent in for recording.

Can I use my existing 800/888 number?
Yes, we can direct your existing toll-free number to your AdTrakker system. We will simply have you fill out a RESPORG form with your personal information, and we will take care of the rest. This is normally a 10-14 day process. In the meantime, we will give you a temporary number where you can begin to configure your system. When your number is transferred, it will simply replace the temporary number with all of the settings you've already configured.

How many inbound calls can my system handle?
The system is digital so we can actually take hundreds of calls simultaneously. This means you get the benefit of the marketing or advertising you're doing without interference from busy phone lines.

Can I setup unique mailboxes and extensions for each Agent in my office?
Yes, by upgrading your system to AdTrakker Multi, you can add all the Agents in your office into the same system.

Why do you require a $25 dollar prepayment on usage?
A small prepayment is needed to cover the cost of calls, because each system has a toll-free number and we do not limit access to that number. Having you prepay the usage allows us to keep our cost to you as low as possible.

How much is it to get set up?

Pay as You Go Plans - You are charged your first and last months rental, a $25 deposit ($100 if paying by check), and a $10 set up fee.
Prepaid Minute Plans - You are charged your first month's rental, a $25 deposit ($100 if paying by check), and a $10 set up fee.
